When I purchased this watch for my 9-year-old daughter for Christmas, there were no customer reviews available, so I was unsure about its quality. However, she was absolutely thrilled when she opened it! We haven’t figured out all the features yet, but she loves writing secret messages and flipping open the front to check the time. The little light on the side is a fun addition, even if it’s not very bright. It might be a bit pricey, but you can’t put a dollar amount on your child’s happiness! The plastic feels sturdy, and I’m giving it a 5-star rating because that’s what my daughter insisted I do! So there you have it!

The smallest setting is slightly large for my eight-year-old, but he absolutely loves it and finds it really cool. One of the message capsules fell out and got lost on the first day, but the company promptly sent me replacements free of charge when I reached out. I’m grateful for their quick response and excellent customer service.

The notepad needs to be written on with a pencil for the decoder to work. I wouldn’t say the decoder is fragile, but it is made of plastic, and it did get accidentally snapped off and was glued back.

Since I paid $16, I expected it to function properly. I returned it and ordered another one, but this one had a completely non-functional digital display. The light works when pressed, but that’s all. It’s going back to Amazon. I would not recommend this product.

My 7-year-old was incredibly excited to receive this for Christmas because it looks amazing and stands out. Unfortunately, the quality is extremely poor, even at this price point. The red flip-up decoder broke off in under three weeks. The secret capsules constantly fall out of the band and were all lost within a month. The motion detector failed during the second week, forcing me to take it apart, remove the battery, and reboot it (which did work). However, this toy is only five weeks old and is already in terrible condition, despite being well cared for by a child who loves it. I really wish they would create a better version because I would gladly pay more for something that actually lasts.
