I decided to trust that review since I wanted to set up laser mazes with my son. However, I can confirm that the lasers are indeed invisible, even in complete darkness. So, if you’re looking for visible lasers, this isn’t the right choice.
Pros: It does work. Setting them up isn’t too complicated, and my son enjoys surprising the family dog and fortifying his blanket forts with an effective alarm system.

This ‘Lazer Trap Alarm’ features bright LED lights that create a ‘Lazer’ beam, which triggers an alarm when crossed. The sensor has two components for each LED light, creating a V-shaped perimeter. The beam is visible from quite a distance; while aiming them can be tricky from far away, it also makes them harder to detect. You can position them at various heights and angles or even set them up between two elevated surfaces for a fun game of ‘Lazer Limbo.’ I’m surprised SPYX didn’t include this idea in the instructions. Overall, it’s well-made and a convincing addition for any aspiring spy.
