I received this product on the same day I ordered it, and setup was a breeze. The magnetic cases are fantastic, allowing me to track my assets with ease. However, the biggest drawback is the battery life. Regardless of the settings, the maximum battery life is just 10 days. Even with only one ping per day, I often had to replace the trackers with spares while recharging the assigned units within four days (I purchased 13 units for my primary assets). This creates a challenge since I have to go out into the field, remove the tracker, recharge it in front of my employees, and use a spare that I have to pay for during the charging time. It feels like an unpaid second job. Despite their low price, these trackers are not suitable for fleet purposes. Operating them as fleet trackers costs $25 per unit each month, which adds up and creates unnecessary extra work. Connecting them to direct battery power for trailers would negate the hidden placement advantage. While they are suitable for tracking family members due to the useful SOS feature, I wouldn’t recommend them for fleet tracking. They are simply not the right choice for managing fleet equipment.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’ve been shopping on Amazon for years. In fact, this is my first review in three years, and I’m not getting paid for it. I just had to share how great this device is after using it for the past three days. The battery is still at 98%, and I’m checking live updates three times an hour.
Just a heads up, there is a subscription required for it to function, which is a bit pricey—that’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I’m very satisfied. The device is user-friendly; simply charge it when you get it, register the device, and download the app. Even a kindergartner could use it easily. The app includes a tutorial, but you probably won’t need it.
