I use this product to monitor thieves and deter unwanted crime, and the motion sensors are excellent. I’ve wanted this for a long time, and it has exceeded my expectations. The HD quality is impressive, making it ideal for observing small details. The motion sensors function effectively, sending notifications whenever there is movement in the room where the camera is placed. It’s perfect for surveillance purposes.

This camera offers good resolution, is compact, and integrates well into its surroundings. However, it requires a FAT32 format for image recording, so make sure to get a micro SD card that is 32GB or smaller. I faced difficulties setting it up with a larger card and had to switch to a 32GB one. Many of the saved images are blurry, and for video sequences, it seems you need to subscribe to cloud services. The night vision performs adequately in low light but not in complete darkness. Additionally, the app suggests a sound feature, which is absent; addressing this would be beneficial for the developers.

The product was completely nonfunctional. To make matters worse, it was a restocked item that I had previously returned. I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, but I found the setup to be extremely challenging. The instructions were nearly impossible to read without a magnifying glass. Additionally, the barcode scanner failed to sync with the app’s software.

I have a few thoughts about this camera and the seller. Initially, I ordered an older version of this camera without realizing there was a newer model available. Unfortunately, the first camera didn’t work for me at all and wouldn’t connect to my Wi-Fi, despite spending two hours trying to troubleshoot it. I returned it and left a negative review, describing it as subpar.
The next day, the seller reached out to me, offering a refund along with the new updated camera, which I appreciated. They ended up sending me two updated cameras, which arrived a few days later, complete with tracking information.
After testing the updated cameras for a few days, I can say they took me about 4 or 5 minutes to set up, especially after struggling with the old model for so long. The included instructions were clear and easy to follow. The Tuya app is user-friendly, allowing for cloud storage purchases or the option to use an SD card for playback at no extra cost.
The app lets you add multiple cameras to your home screen, which is convenient. Video quality is around 720p in HD mode, and it’s sufficiently clear to capture finer details, especially considering the camera’s small size.
Night vision is just black and white recording; it doesn’t see in complete darkness since there’s no infrared emitter. Playback functionality works smoothly, comparable to other well-known surveillance cameras.
When relocating the camera to a different outlet, it connects to Wi-Fi automatically, and it only takes a minute or two to boot up. My only minor issue is that it takes a moment to connect to the camera for live viewing, but that’s not a significant problem since recordings are saved for playback.
Overall, this camera offers great value for the price and serves as an affordable alternative to pricier options like Blink or Ring, especially considering their subscription fees. I highly recommend both the product and the seller. Five stars!

I purchased this camera a few months ago, and initially, I had some doubts. However, after setting it up, I have to say it’s a fantastic camera—far better than I anticipated. The setup was a bit challenging, but the step-by-step instructions on YouTube made it straightforward. Once I downloaded the app, I could access the camera from anywhere.
One downside is that the camera only records video; it doesn’t have sound. It does feature night vision, which is in black and white. The motion sensor sends a notification every time it detects movement, along with a snapshot. There’s also a playback option for up to 12 hours, with the possibility to purchase additional options through the app.
Overall, I absolutely love this compact USB cube camera. It’s discreet and can be placed anywhere with an outlet. I would recommend it 100%.

It plugs into a standard electrical outlet, and if it’s not placed above knee height, you can’t see anything through it. Additionally, this cube gets extremely hot! It’s also quite large compared to a typical wall charger, making it very noticeable. The seller includes a card in the package offering a “free” perk, but that’s misleading. When I contacted them, they informed me that I would have to cover shipping, handling, duties, and other fees to receive my “free” item.

This product came with a USB to Lightning cable, a USB extension cord, a small tool to reset the device, and a sticker for the SD card. I purchased it mainly for the remote camera monitoring feature.
After spending hours trying to set it up, I reached out to the seller for assistance. I was directed to a third-party website to download two files, install them on the SD card, and “update the firmware.” This process made me hesitant to proceed, as I expected a brand new $50 camera to be ready to use without additional steps. All functions should have been operational out of the box.
Despite my reservations, I decided to follow through. Even after downloading and installing the firmware, the camera still didn’t work properly. Only after that did the basic capture functions start to function, but the quality of the pictures was disappointing—very grainy and likely under 480p resolution. I cannot recommend this camera, particularly if you’re looking for a reliable live view feature.
On a positive note, customer service was quick to respond to my queries about the issues I encountered. However, I believe that for this price point, the product should be fully functional from the start.
