    It stopped working and won’t record after just one month. I attempted to reset it, but that didn’t help. Now I can’t record at all. It’s disappointing because it functioned well for three weeks, but now the blue and red lights keep blinking non-stop. I have no idea what went wrong.

    I was looking for a discreet device to keep in my co-working office since items keep disappearing. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to discover that this device only records video. While it works and will serve its purpose, it’s a limitation of the product.

    The manual is clearly written, avoiding any linguistic confusion. It advises charging the device before first use. While charging, the fourth blue LED kept flashing, indicating that the battery pack was already at 80% capacity. According to the manual, this means the battery is still charging. I connected a USB Power Monitor and noted that the voltage read 4.92V during charging. Once I unplugged the charging cable, the voltage rose to 5.12V. The fourth LED stopped blinking when the voltage on the meter reached 5.13VDC.

    All power input and output connectors are located on one end of the pack, while the camera lens, mode switch, IR LEDs, and data I/O are on the opposite end. You have three charging options: USB micro, USB C, and iPhone Lightning. For output, there are two USB-A ports, which are the standard large USB connectors.

    The included adhesive lens cover protects the camera lens and IR LEDs, but the manual notes that using the cover may affect image quality. It also obscures access to the SD card slot; however, there is a USB micro port that allows for data and photo transfer via a USB cable without needing to remove the SD card. Additionally, it covers the switch for toggling between continuous recording and motion detection recording. Three of these covers are provided, but they seem non-reusable. Since I prioritize high image resolution, I have chosen not to use one.

    In motion (M) mode, the camera begins recording upon detecting movement and continues for 5 minutes, regardless of ongoing motion. It won’t start recording again until new motion is detected. In low light, it automatically switches to IR mode, delivering clear image capture, albeit in black and white. The camera’s ability to maintain detail in low-light situations is a significant advantage for surveillance.

    This device is ideal for monitoring activity in your absence, such as in a hotel room, or for placing on your vehicle dashboard to observe parking lot activity. It can also be used to record nighttime campsite visitors. However, it lacks image stabilization, making it unsuitable for use as a driving camera.

    I haven’t tested the storage battery function yet, but I have used other battery packs of similar capacity that typically provide 3-4 partial charges for an iPhone. The combination of a camera and battery pack is a must-have for anyone. USB-powered devices that can be recharged with compact battery packs are essential for travelers and those who prefer to travel light.

    I think this product is excellent for its price. Plus, the customer service has been fantastic (shoutout to Zoey!). I’ve been testing the camera and have a few observations. 1) The image resolution is quite good, and it does a nice job detecting objects at night and during motion. 2) I encountered an infrared pulsing device in the surveillance area I wanted to capture, which caused some video capture issues. I ended up purchasing an IR blocking filter and placed it in front of the lens, secured with an optical glass coverslip. This resolved the problem, eliminating the video “blooming.” 3) The data transfer speed to my computer using a USB 2.0 cable is about seven times slower than transferring directly from the memory card to my Windows computer. It might be worth the manufacturer’s time to look into upgrading the USB bus, although it could also be an issue with my USB cable. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and would recommend the product, especially considering its reasonable price.

I appreciate how easy the camera is to operate, and all its functions work seamlessly. The video and picture quality is impressive, with images coming out sharp and clear, even in night vision mode. It also does a great job picking up both quiet and loud sounds during recordings. You can access the images and videos via an SD card (I suggest using a higher capacity SD card for extended recording). Besides its excellent camera, this power bank charges devices quickly and efficiently.

    I’ve owned several similar cameras over the years, and most of them perform reasonably well for the price. When I ordered this one, I expected it to be just like the rest, but it surprised me. It’s slightly thicker, yet much more user-friendly. Everything operates automatically—no need to manually activate night vision; it turns on in the dark and off in the light. A single button press is all it takes to start or stop recording. The motion detection works flawlessly, and the picture quality is impressive for this type of device. This is, without a doubt, the best and easiest to use “budget camera” I’ve come across, and I plan to order a second one. Considering the value for the price, it’s an excellent deal.

    What sets this vendor apart is their customer service. I’ve purchased many devices in the past, but never have I had a seller reach out to ensure everything was working well and offer assistance with any questions. That’s a major reason to buy from them. If you encounter any issues with the camera, you can actually communicate with the seller for support. The instructions are clear and in English, and the seller’s communication is good too. They took the time to explain some features of the camera and suggested other products that might meet my needs. This will definitely be my go-to place for future purchases. I highly recommend this vendor for electronics like covert cameras! I’m very pleased!
